Rice Husk, From Garbage to Energy Source

Rice Husk or Paddy Husk is agricultural waste in the form of paddy husk that has been separated from the rice, which turns out to be a renewable energy source. When rice becomes the staple food of the community, paddy husk waste is usually just thrown away by burning it into ashes.

But that was before the development of science. With the development of modern agricultural knowledge, paddy husk began to be developed because it has great potential. Finally, people realized that rice husks should not be thrown away.

This agricultural waste has many uses in various sectors. Its utilization includes the livestock sector, plant media, alternative fuel tools, and new energy sources for the medical world.

Paddy husk can be a nutrient for plants because it contains nutrients that are beneficial for growing plants. Therefore, power plants require fuels such as paddy husk, wood, straw, and others to operate. Now we can imagine that the future energy potential is shifting to biomass instead of relying on petroleum.
